How is it almost mid September?! It feels like August flew by, kids are back in school, sports are going, work is always present and everyone is still trying to balance the grind of life. If you are like every other human around here, sometimes struggling to keep up with or make time for self care between all the daily madness, check out some of the things we offer here at NS Counseling & Wellness Services below.
Our goal is to take a Holistic approach to mental health care, which goes beyond therapy. We want to offer the things we constantly recommend during your therapy sessions to make it more affordable and easier to access.
I also want to give a huge thank you to those who donated to our second community clothing drive and a special thanks to Girl Scouts Troop 05125 for the amazing hard work provided for our communities! (Special thanks to the troop moms that made it happen!) What a successful drive it was in helping many individuals and families.
Keep an eye out for info on our winter clothing drive happening at the end of the year if you would like to donate!
This past week Nicole Serrano, LMFT attended a conference that spoke on important topics that brought to light Burn out, ways to help our bodies process and heal in a natural way. This prompted me to want to remind everyone about what we offer here. If you feel like your body feels stuck or needs movement, the office walls are not the only place we offer therapy. We also offer walk and talk therapy, and can do things outdoors, or in office with various tools and body movement/ somatic exercises during processing. If you are interested ask your clinician!
Here is a picture of all the incredible learning and growth your therapists continue to do!
