Happy Summer to our community!
It has been quite the half of year thus far. There have been so many celebrations and moments of grief for many as Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Mental Health Month and more have come and passed. We recognize that this can be very loving and exciting times for some and very difficult or painful times for others. We hope you have given yourself the space and grace needed to feel the emotions as you keep moving forward in your day and life.
As always if you ever need support, we are here to help. As the saying goes, “When you are willing to feel it, you can heal it”.
As we enter summer, we have the opportunity for more Vitamin D time, but also need to be aware of hydrating appropriately and caring for ourselves during Heatwaves. A friendly reminder that extreme heat can impact several psychotropic and other medications and create dangerous side effects. Please consult with your doctor to see if this is the case for any medications you may take.
